📅 Mark your calendars for Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 from 4:30PM - 7:00PM. 

‼️Please remember, doors will promptly open for admission to ticket holders NO EARLIER than 4:30PM.

🤩 Also, please be advised that we are switching things up, and this year's prom will be at a new location; The Ultimate Venues located at 770 Old Tram Road in Whiteville. Directions will be available at each Senior Center. 

🎟️ Tickets are $17.00. Ticket price includes admission and catered meal. Contact your local Senior Center Coordinator today to purchase yours!

🎟️You do not have to be a member of a senior center to attend our Senior Prom! Singles and Couples are Welcome!

👑 We will be crowing Prom Royalties from our seven senior centers again this year.

💐Corsages & Boutonnieres will be available for purchase prior to & at the event. See information below.

For our THIRD consecutive year, join us in celebrating our 2026 Senior Prom King & Queen Royalty! 👑

The seven (7) Kings and seven (7) Queens are representing each one of the the Department of Aging's seven senior center sites!

🌸Join us for our FREE Spring Health Fair & Shred-A-Thon! This event will provide an opportunity for our senior community to meet local vendors, have opportunities for health screenings, as well as assisting with protection from identity theft. 

♻️Help protect yourself from identity theft by attending our Shred-A-Thon. This event offers protection by providing a resource to shred & destroy confidential information, AND it's free to use. This service can destroy credit cards, old bills, out-of-date account statements, tax records, checks and any other personal documents that may include condfidential information.

🥳The Columbus County Department of Aging is pleased to host our FREE Senior Picnic for our senior community. This event will provide an opportunity for fellowship, social engagement, and enjoyment in a welcoming outdoor environment.

🎪We encourage eligible seniors to join us for a fun day full of vendors, speakers, entertainment, and prizes! 

🍴A bagged lunch is provided. 

🎟️Don't forget we will have a raffle drawing throughout the event, so be sure to grab your raffle ticket at check-in!
