From the creative arts and crafts to games, clubs, and special events that help keep you active, social, and inspired - all tailored to our members' interests and abilities. Our programs encourage creativity and social connection, giving our seniors joy, purpose, and belonging. Our rooms are filled with laughter, friendships are created, and our programs & activities have become routines in our seniors daily life. We have helped participants combat isolation and rediscover joy in community every week. Our programs are created with you in mind! We believe aging should be active, empowered, and joyful. Some of our programs also help the seniors have the opportunity to participate & showcase their talents in the annual Columbus County Agriculture Fair Art Exhibits every fall.

From jewelry making and wreaths to glass painting, wood crafts and paper creations - our Crafters' Circle turns everyday items into one-of-a-king treasures. We love repurposing thrifted and gifted materials into beautiful works of art. No experience required - just bring your imagination!

Currently we have a standing schedule with Gentiva Hospice of Whiteville, where their representative, Germaine (pictured above w/ FBSC Senior Gladys) comes & host the game on the second Wednesday of every month. Additional games, hosted by other partners, will vary month-to-month. Follow our calendar for more information.
