"Purses with a Purpose" Drive
👜 In July 2024, the Acts of Grace Community Outreach Group ran one of our most meaningful projects, our "Purses with a Purpose" drive, which showed support to the Families First Domestic & Sexual Violence Shelter.
👜 During the process of this amazing project, we were able to donate 20 purses packed with essential items, as well as donating additional items to the shelter.
👜 The items that we packed in each purse included:
Toothbrush & Toothpaste, Body wash/soap, Shampoo & Conditioner, Deodarant, Comb, Hair ties & bobby pins, Feminine Hygiene Items, First Aid Kit, Hand sanitizer, Hand wipes, Tissue, Razor, Nail Brush, Chapstick, Notepad w/ pen & pencil, Granola Bar, Gum, a personal pocket sized Bible (donated by individuals from the Baptist Association), as well as a Special gift and a safety keychain with an emergency whistle & flash light for each purse! We also included a personalized, encouraging note for each purse! 🫶

🍎 A total of 19 Bookbags, 10 Lunch Boxes, and a large amount of school supplies were donated.
